HERBAL REMEDIES FOR KIDNEY, BLADDER AND URINARY TRACT

Urinary System (kidneys, ureter, bladder, urethra, prostate gland): The kidneys are responsible for maintaining a constant and healthy internal environment within the body, regulating the body’s water content, salt balance and blood pH. They play a major role in detoxification by filtering the blood to excrete a huge amount of nitrogenous waste. Common problems include infections, gravel or stone, water retention and difficult urination. Poor kidney function can also lead to elevated blood pressure.

JUNIPER & CORNSILK COMPLEX

A blend of diuretic, demulcent, astringent and antiseptic herbs, which help maintain health of the kidneys and urinary tract. Suitable to help sooth irritation and counteract infection in the urinary tract .

Ingredients: Spirit, extracts of Couchgrass rhizome,  Cornsilk, Golden Rod, Buchu leaf, Pellitory of the Wall, Wild Carrot, Horsetail and Juniper berries.

Indications: urinary problems including cystitis, painful or burning urination, urinary incontinence, frequent urination, bladder irritation.

Cautions: Not suitable for pregnant or lactating mothers or for people who suffer from kidney disease. If suspected kidney infection or small amounts of blood in the urine from stone/gravel use Gravel Root Tea instead.

SAW PALMETTO COMPLEX

A combination of Saw Palmetto and other herbs to help men maintain the health of the prostate gland and ease associated urinary problems.

Ingredients: Spirit, extracts of Saw Palmetto, Small-flowered Willowherb, Hydrangea root, Puncture Vine, Horsetail, Couchgrass rhizome and Nettle root.

Indications: swelling and discomfort in prostate region, urination often impeded leading to increased frequency, especially noticeable at night time, reduced flow or dribbling of urine, inability to completely empty bladder.

DANDELION COMPLEX

A gentle diuretic formula for water retention. Helps to retain essential potassium, which chemical diuretics tend to deplete.

Ingredients: Spirit, extracts of Dandelion, Wild Carrot, Cleavers, Poria mushroom and Cornsilk

GRAVEL ROOT FORMULA

A combination of herbs traditionally used for sediment, gravel or stone in the kidneys and urinary tract. Calcareous and crystalline deposits can impair kidney function, cause irritation and provide sites for infection to develop. The herbs in this formula help to dissolve these accumulations and sooth sensitive membranes.

Ingredients: Hydrangea root, Gravel Root, Bearberry leaves, Juniper berries, Marshmallow root, Cornsilk, Dandelion leaf, Horsetail, Vervain and Lemongrass.
